Description

A purpose-fit trash receptacle designed to snap onto the rear printer shelf of a Mindray TE5/TE7 point-of-care ultrasound cart, giving sonographers a place to discard used gel wipes and probe-cover wrappers without cluttering the cart or reaching for a separate bin. It is aimed at ultrasound techs, ED/ICU POCUS teams, and biomed staff who want tidy, one-piece cart accessories rather than aftermarket clip-on organizers that don't match the cart's exact shelf dimensions. Because it is a free, precisely dimensioned STL, any department with a 3D printer can replicate it instead of fabricating a custom bracket by hand. The designer modeled the bin directly around the Mindray TE5/TE7 rear shelf in OrcaSlicer, adding measured gaps so factory velcro straps still fit and a notch so the bin doesn't block the cart's built-in wipe dispenser. It prints as a single ~366g part with supports and ironing recommended for a clean finish, then straps on with no glue or hardware. Uploaded in late 2025, it has modest but real uptake (58 downloads, 7 likes) and, as a single-cart-specific accessory, has no independent validation data; its main limitation is that it only fits the TE5/TE7 shelf geometry and needs rescaling for other Mindray or competitor carts.
